From whichever port the container is discharged, the goods continue by rail or road into Bratislava, Košice or your final address. Port-to-port sea transit is typically in the region of 24 to 34 days depending on routing and the gateway chosen, and the onward inland leg adds several days more. The choice between the northern and Adriatic routings depends on schedules, the inland connection and your timeline — we explain the trade-off rather than defaulting to one.

Air freight from Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), Bengaluru (BLR) or Chennai (MAA) serves moves where the calendar cannot absorb sea transit. Slovakia’s own airport, Bratislava (BTS), handles cargo, but Vienna (VIE) — barely an hour by road from Bratislava and far better connected for freight — is frequently the more practical gateway, with the shipment trucked the short distance across the border into Slovakia.
