This Privacy Policy explains how Seemleius handles the personal information you share with us through this website. We have written it in plain language because the point of a privacy policy is to be understood, not waded through.

1. Who we are

Seemleius is a relocation, freight and storage company operating under one brand through two regional arms — a Global arm based at our Dubai headquarters in Dubai Investment Park, United Arab Emirates, and an India arm with offices in Kochi, Kerala and Thane, Maharashtra. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Seemleius” refer to whichever arm is handling your enquiry or move.

2. The information we collect

We only ask for what we need to quote and run your move. When you use our quote or contact forms, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number, and whether that number is an active WhatsApp number;
• Details of your move — origin, destination, preferred dates, what is being moved, freight mode, additional services, and whether you want to book a survey;
• The consent you give us to be contacted about your enquiry and to receive marketing information from us.

We also collect limited technical information automatically through cookies and analytics — see section 6.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to prepare your quote, plan and carry out your move, keep you updated, respond to your questions, and — where you have consented — send you relevant marketing information. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand how our website is used and to improve it.

4. Our lawful basis

We process your information because it is necessary to respond to your request and to perform the service you have asked us to quote or carry out, and because you have given us your consent — particularly for marketing. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 8).

5. How your information is stored and shared

Enquiries submitted through our forms are stored in this website’s own database and copied to a Google Sheet used by our coordination team. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to deliver your move — for example with freight, customs or destination partners — and with service providers who help us run the website and our operations, including Google (Analytics and Ads). Those providers are only permitted to use your information to provide their service to us.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand site usage (Google Analytics 4) and to measure advertising (Google Ads). You control these through our cookie banner. Our Cookie Policy explains this in full.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and move records for as long as needed to deliver your move and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Marketing contact details are kept until you ask us to stop or withdraw consent.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12 and we will respond promptly.

9. International transfers

Because Seemleius operates across the UAE and India and uses international service providers, your information may be processed outside your home country. Where it is, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults arranging moves. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be made clear on this page.
