Part of Domestic Relocation

Office & Commercial Moving

Office and commercial moves within India, planned to minimise downtime — from small studios to full commercial floors, across any Indian city.

India’s business landscape moves constantly. Startups outgrow co-working spaces and shift into their first proper offices. Established firms move from older CBD buildings to newer business parks in Whitefield, Gurugram, Bandra Kurla or Magarpatta. Regional offices are set up or consolidated. Each of these moves is an operational event, and the measure is always the same: how much working time did it cost, and was the new space productive from day one?

Seemleius office and commercial moving treats a business move as a project, not a larger version of a house move. It is part of our domestic relocation service, available across India’s metros and tier-2 cities.

Planning around your business, not your boxes

The furniture and equipment are the straightforward part. The real challenge in an Indian office move is sequencing: making sure the origin office can keep functioning until the last possible moment, the new space is set up before the team arrives, IT equipment comes down in the right order and comes back up the same way, and building-management requirements at both addresses are handled in advance. We plan around all of that.

Sequenced planning

The move phased to protect working time — typically over evenings or a weekend when staff are not in.

Floor-plan mapping

Workstations and equipment labelled and mapped to the new layout so teams land where they belong.

Equipment handling

Desks, storage units, servers and office equipment dismantled, protected in transit and reassembled.

Building access management

Lift bookings, parking allocations and security clearances arranged at both addresses before move day.

How your office move is planned

  1. Survey both ends. We assess the origin office, the destination space and access conditions at each, then build a sequenced plan that accounts for your IT, your floor plan and your operating schedule.
  2. Fix the window. The move is scheduled into the time that costs your business the least — often a Friday night through Sunday, so Monday morning is a normal working day in the new space.
  3. Execute to the plan. Our crew packs, labels, transports and reassembles to the agreed floor plan, working through the schedule without improvising.
  4. Hand over a working office. The new space is set up and ready for your team to walk into — workstations in place, equipment connected, furniture assembled.

Intercity office moves

When the move spans cities — a Pune operation relocating to Hyderabad, a Chennai team expanding into Bengaluru — the intercity logistics are added to the same project plan. Your coordinator manages both ends, and the destination office is set up before your team travels, so the new city is ready to work in from arrival day.

From a five-person studio to a large commercial floor, the priority is continuity. Talk to us about your office move and we will plan it around your operations.

How do I get a quote for this service?

Use the step-by-step quote form — it takes about a minute — or call us directly. Every quote is free, itemised and with no obligation.

Is my shipment insured?

Transit insurance is available on every service. Your coordinator will explain the cover options when quoting so you can choose what suits the shipment.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most jobs, but we regularly handle urgent work. The sooner you reach out, the more flexibility you have on dates.

Do you handle the paperwork and customs?

Yes — where a service involves customs or documentation, we prepare and submit it on your behalf and keep you updated at each stage.

Will I have one point of contact?

Always. A dedicated coordinator owns your job from first quote to completion — no call centre, no being passed around.
