Free pre-move survey
A surveyor visits your home, or walks through it by video, to measure the volume, count the heavy and fragile pieces, and check the access at both ends — floor, lift size, staircase, lane width and tempo parking. That is what turns a guess into a written, all-inclusive quote with the right vehicle behind it.

Packing day
The crew packs in graded material — bubble wrap and corrugated sheets for fragiles, cartons for the rest, blankets and stretch wrap on furniture — and dismantles beds, wardrobes and modular units. In the monsoon, everything that matters gets a waterproof outer layer before it leaves the flat.

Loading and the move
With the gate-pass cleared and the service lift booked, the load goes down in order, padded into the vehicle and secured for the road — a short city hop or a long intercity leg. Your coordinator confirms the dispatch and arrival window.

Society NOC, gate-pass and the security deposit
Most housing societies in Mumbai will not let a packing crew or a loaded tempo in or out without a move NOC from the managing committee and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. We build this in early — tell us your society’s rules at the survey and your coordinator helps line up the paperwork so the crew is not turned away at the gate on moving day.
Service lifts, lift padding and move timings
A high-rise move lives or dies on the service lift. Buildings release it for a booked slot, sometimes only on certain days and within fixed hours, and often require it padded to protect the interior. We book the slot in advance, bring our own padding, and sequence the load so the lift time is used and not wasted. Where a society restricts moves to weekdays or bars them on particular days, we plan the date around that rather than against it.
Narrow lanes, manual carry and tempo parking
Plenty of Mumbai addresses cannot take a tempo to the door — older buildings in Girgaon and Dadar without lifts, chawls with steep common staircases, lanes too tight for a 17-footer. We size the vehicle to the access, arrange parking permission where the lane needs it, and crew the job for the manual carry so the staircase leg is handled properly rather than rushed.
The monsoon
From June to September the rain is a planning input, not a surprise. We waterproof the packing — an outer wrap on cartons and furniture, extra care on anything electronic or upholstered — and where the forecast turns severe we will suggest shifting the slot by a day rather than carrying your sofa through a downpour. A move is easier to reschedule than a ruined mattress.
Intercity moves from Mumbai
A large share of our intercity work runs out of Mumbai, and we are straight about transit times because that is where most disappointment comes from. Bands depend on volume, the vehicle and whether you take a dedicated truck or a shared load.
- Mumbai to Pune — the most common route, down the Expressway, usually a same-day or next-day delivery on a dedicated vehicle, and the short distance keeps the cost sensible.
- Mumbai to Bengaluru — typically two to three days door to door on a dedicated load, longer on a shared one while the truck consolidates other consignments.
- Mumbai to Delhi NCR — a long north-bound haul, generally three to five days depending on the vehicle and route.
- Mumbai to Hyderabad — usually two to three days, similar in pattern to the Bengaluru run.
- Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Surat or Goa — shorter legs, often delivered inside one to two days.

What affects the cost of a Mumbai move
There is no honest flat price for a house shift, because no two homes measure the same, and we will not quote a number before we have seen the job. What the quote is built from:
- Home size and volume — a 1RK, 1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK or 4BHK each carry a different load, and it is the volume, not just the bedroom count, that drives the vehicle and the crew.
- Distance — a local shift within the suburbs prices very differently from an intercity haul to Pune or Bengaluru.
- Floor and lift availability — a flat with a working service lift is quicker and cheaper to clear than a fourth-floor walk-up that needs a long manual carry.
- Packing material grade — full bubble-and-carton packing on a fragile-heavy home costs more than a lighter pack, and we price what your goods need.

Andheri West to Powai
A family shifting a 2BHK barely twelve kilometres, but the Powai society would only release its service lift for a two-hour weekday slot. The coordinator booked it, sequenced the Andheri packing the evening before so the morning was pure loading, and had the gate-pass and move NOC cleared at both ends ahead of the day. A 14-foot tempo, padded lift, and the beds and wardrobes back together by early afternoon.
An office floor in BKC
A thirty-desk office moving within Bandra Kurla Complex over a weekend to avoid a working-day loss. The coordinator ran the building’s after-hours access rules, labelled and crated the IT kit separately, kept the filing in sequence, and had the floor usable before Monday. The written quote covered the weekend labour and lift bookings up front, so there was no surprise on the invoice.
Mumbai to Pune on the Expressway
A 3BHK heading down the Expressway to Pune on a dedicated truck. The coordinator crated the glass-top dining table and the television, added transit insurance for the road, and timed the dispatch so the load cleared the Mumbai society lift in the morning and reached Pune the same evening. Yes. Two-wheelers are drained, crated and secured; cars travel in an enclosed or open carrier for intercity routes. Both can move alongside your household goods or on their own, and both are covered by transit insurance for the distance.
How long does a local Mumbai house shift take?
Most local shifts are a single day — pack, load, move, unpack and reassemble — provided the service-lift slot and gate-pass are booked. Larger homes or buildings with restricted lift timings can run into a second day, and we tell you which at the survey.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. We survey before we price, and the written quote itemises packing, labour, vehicle, floor and lift access, insurance and GST.
