1. Free pre-move survey

   A surveyor visits your home, or walks through it by video, to measure the volume, count the heavy and fragile pieces, and check the access at both ends — floor, lift size, staircase, lane width and parking. That is what turns a guess into a written, all-inclusive quote with the right vehicle behind it.

2. Packing day

   The crew packs in graded material — bubble wrap and corrugated sheets for fragiles, cartons for the rest, blankets and stretch wrap on furniture — and dismantles beds, wardrobes and modular units. In the monsoon, anything that matters gets a waterproof outer layer before it leaves the flat.

3. Loading and the move

   With the gate-pass cleared and the service lift booked, the load goes down in order, padded into the vehicle and secured for the road — a short city hop or a long intercity leg. Your coordinator confirms the dispatch and arrival window, and times the drive around the traffic rather than into it.

4. Unpack and reassemble

   At the new home the crew carries up, unpacks, reassembles the beds and wardrobes, places the heavy furniture where you want it, and clears the empty cartons and wrapping on the same visit — so you are not living among a fortnight of debris.

Apartment-society NOC, gate-pass and service lifts

Most apartment societies in Bengaluru will not let a packing crew or a loaded tempo in or out without a move NOC from the association and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. The service lift is usually released for a booked slot only, sometimes on certain days and within fixed hours, and often needs padding. We build this in early — tell us your society’s rules at the survey, and your coordinator lines up the paperwork and the slot so the crew is not turned away at the gate on moving day.

Tech-park move protocols

An office relocation into or out of Manyata Tech Park, ITPL, Ecospace at Bellandur or Electronic City is as much about clearance as about cartons. These campuses run their own security, gate-pass and material-movement rules, often with after-hours or weekend windows for moving IT kit and furniture. We read the building’s access policy first, crate the servers and workstations separately, and schedule the work so the floor is usable for the next working day.

Traffic-aware scheduling

Bengaluru traffic is the constraint that shapes every move here. A run from Whitefield to Koramangala that looks quick on a map can swallow hours in peak, so we start loads early in the morning or in the off-peak gap, build realistic buffers into the dispatch window, and route around the worst of the Outer Ring Road and Silk Board crawl rather than through it. Part of the survey is simply to set a moving time the city will actually allow.

From June into October the rain is a planning input, not a surprise.
