Shifting home in Delhi NCR is less about the kilometres on the map and more about the things that bracket the drive — the RWA gate-pass your society wants before a crew steps in, the service-lift window a Gurugram condo will hold open for only a couple of hours, the builder-floor in Greater Kailash with no lift and a narrow staircase, and the state border you cross the moment a tempo leaves Delhi for Noida or Gurgaon. Seemleius packs and moves homes and offices across the National Capital Region for that reason: the move stands or falls on the society rules, the floor access and the timing far more than on the distance itself.

We have completed 1,213 moves and counting, and the pattern is the same whether you are shifting a 1BHK in Lajpat Nagar, a 3BHK in Greater Kailash or an office in Cyber City. The part that keeps a move calm happens before the first carton is taped: a proper survey of your home, a written quote that names every charge, the society paperwork lined up ahead of the day, and one coordinator who owns the job from the first call to the last reassembled wardrobe — with a free pre-move survey at the centre of it.

A surveyed, written quote — no hidden charges

We survey your home before we price it, then set every line down in writing: packing material, labour, vehicle, floor and lift access, transit insurance and GST. The figure you sign is the figure you pay. The trade’s worst habit is the quiet add-on on moving day — a charge for the staircase, for the extra wrapping, for the second man. We quote those in or we tell you plainly that they do not apply.

Our own trained crew, not day labour

The team that packs your home is in-house and trained on NCR building access, lift padding and furniture dismantling — not casual hands hired at the gate that morning. They know how to carry a sofa down a Defence Colony builder-floor staircase and how to crate a glass-top dining table so it survives the run to Jaipur or Chandigarh.

Insured, invoiced and coordinated

Transit insurance on the move, a proper GST invoice for your records, and a single named coordinator who knows your society’s rules, your lift slot and your timeline — not a different voice each time you ring. When goods cross into Gurugram or Noida, the same coordinator handles the e-way bill so nothing is held up at the border.

What we move across Delhi NCR

Most days are household shifts, but the crew and the vehicles flex to the job in front of them. Across the region we handle:

  • Home shifting — from a single-room set to a four-bedroom flat, packed, moved, unpacked and reassembled at the new address.
  • Office and commercial relocation — workstations, server and IT kit, files and furniture, planned around a weekend or an after-hours window so the business loses the least working time.
  • Packing and unpacking — full-service packing in graded material, or pack-only and unpack-only where you would rather handle one end yourself.
  • Bike and car transport — two-wheelers drained, crated and secured; cars in an enclosed or open carrier for intercity routes.
  • Storage and warehousing — clean, short or longer-term storage for the gap when the new place is not ready or a sale and a purchase do not line up.
  • Single-item and furniture moves — one wardrobe, a fridge or a few cartons, priced sensibly rather than as a full house shift.

Areas of Delhi NCR we serve

We work the whole of Delhi and the wider NCR, and we know the building, access and border quirks that come with each pocket:

  • South Delhi — Saket, Greater Kailash, Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas and Defence Colony, where DDA flats and multi-storey builder-floors often mean no lift and a planned manual carry down a tight staircase.
  • West and Central Delhi — Rajouri Garden, Janakpuri, Patel Nagar and the surrounding colonies, a mix of older blocks and newer apartments, each with its own parking and access realities.
  • Dwarka, Rohini and Pitampura — the planned sub-city layouts where the roads help the vehicle but the cooperative-society gate process and lift booking are just as firm as anywhere else.
  • East Delhi — Mayur Vihar, Laxmi Nagar and Preet Vihar, where dense lanes and walk-up flats decide the vehicle size and the carry plan.
  • Gurugram (Gurgaon) — the DLF phases, Cyber City, Sohna Road, Golf Course Road and New Gurgaon, where gated high-rise condos set strict move-timing windows and release the service lift only for a booked slot.
  • Noida and Greater Noida — the sectors, Noida Extension and Greater Noida, high-rise societies with their own gate-pass, NOC and move-NOC routines and, being in Uttar Pradesh, an inter-state leg from Delhi.
  • Faridabad and Ghaziabad — Faridabad across the Haryana side and Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram, Vaishali and Raj Nagar across the UP side, served on the same terms as the rest of the region.

If your locality is not named here, it is almost certainly still within our run — ask, and we will confirm it at the survey.

  1. Free pre-move survey

A surveyor visits your home, or walks through it by video, to measure the volume, count the heavy and fragile pieces, and check the access at both ends — floor, lift size, staircase, lane width and where the tempo can stand. That is what turns a guess into a written, all-inclusive quote with the right vehicle behind it.

  2. Packing day

The crew packs in graded material — bubble wrap and corrugated sheets for fragiles, cartons for the rest, blankets and stretch wrap on furniture — and dismantles beds, wardrobes and modular units. In the peak summer heat we keep anything that can warp out of standing vehicles, and in winter fog we build the timing around safe road visibility.

  3. Loading and the move

With the gate-pass cleared, the service lift booked and the e-way bill ready for any leg crossing into Gurugram or Noida, the load goes down in order, padded into the vehicle and secured for the road — a short NCR hop or a long intercity haul. Your coordinator confirms the dispatch and the arrival window.

  4. Unpack and reassemble

At the new home the crew carries up, unpacks, puts the beds and wardrobes back together, places the heavy furniture where you want it, and clears the empty cartons and wrapping on the same visit — so you are not living among a fortnight of debris.

The Delhi NCR realities we plan around

RWA NOC, gate-pass and the refundable deposit

Most societies and condominiums across the NCR will not let a packing crew or a loaded tempo through the gate without a no-objection certificate from the RWA or managing committee and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. We build this in early — tell us your society’s rules at the survey and your coordinator helps line up the paperwork in advance, so the crew is not turned away at the gate on the morning of the move.

Gated-condo move timings and service lifts

A high-rise move in Gurugram or Noida lives or dies on the service lift. The condos release it for a booked slot, sometimes only on certain days and within fixed hours, and usually require it padded to protect the interior. We book the slot in advance, bring our own padding, and sequence the load so the lift time is used and not wasted. Where a society restricts moves to particular hours or weekdays, we set the date around the rule rather than against it.

Builder-floors and the manual carry

Plenty of South and East Delhi addresses cannot offer a lift at all — DDA flats and independent builder-floors in Greater Kailash, Defence Colony, Hauz Khas and the East Delhi colonies where the goods come down a narrow common staircase by hand. We size the vehicle to the access, arrange parking permission where the lane needs it, and crew the job for the manual carry so the staircase leg is handled properly rather than rushed at the end of the day.

Inter-state borders and the e-way bill within NCR

The NCR sits across three states, and a move from Delhi into Gurugram or Faridabad crosses into Haryana, while a move into Noida, Greater Noida or Ghaziabad crosses into Uttar Pradesh. When the value of the goods on a single vehicle crosses the threshold, that inter-state leg needs a GST e-way bill, and a tempo without one can be held at the border. Your coordinator raises the e-way bill against the move so the crossing is clean and the load is not stopped.

GRAP truck restrictions and winter air quality

When Delhi’s winter air quality turns severe, the Graded Response Action Plan can restrict heavy-goods vehicles from entering the city during the worst spells. It is a real planning input here, not a footnote — we watch the orders, choose vehicle classes that are allowed to run, and where an entry restriction is in force we adjust the dispatch timing so your goods are not sitting at a checkpoint.

Summer heat and winter fog

The NCR weather decides timing twice a year. Through the May and June heat we avoid leaving sensitive items baking in a parked vehicle and load in the cooler part of the day where we can. Through the December and January fog, intercity departures are timed for safe visibility rather than a fixed clock, because a load that reaches a day later in one piece beats one rushed through a blind highway night.

Intercity moves from Delhi

A large share of our intercity work runs out of Delhi, and we are straight about transit times because that is where most disappointment comes from. The bands depend on the volume, the vehicle and whether you take a dedicated truck or a shared load.

  • Delhi to Jaipur — the shortest of the common runs, usually a same-day or next-day delivery on a dedicated vehicle, and the distance keeps the cost sensible.
  • Delhi to Chandigarh — another short north-bound leg, generally same-day or next-day door to door on a dedicated load.
  • Delhi to Mumbai — a long haul down the country, typically three to five days depending on the vehicle and the route.
  • Delhi to Pune — usually three to five days, in the same pattern as the Mumbai run.
  • Delhi to Bengaluru — a long southern haul, generally three to five days on a dedicated load and longer on a shared one while the truck consolidates other consignments.
  • Delhi to Hyderabad — typically three to four days door to door, similar in pattern to the Bengaluru route.

We also run the shorter regional legs — Lucknow and Dehradun among them — on the same terms. For any of these we crate furniture to survive the road, offer transit insurance for the distance, and give you a dedicated-truck price against a shared-load price so you can weigh speed against budget honestly.

What affects the cost of a Delhi NCR move

There is no honest flat price for a house shift, because no two homes measure the same, and we will not quote a number before we have seen the job. What the quote is built from:

  • Home size and volume — a 1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK or 4BHK each carry a different load, and it is the volume, not the bedroom count alone, that drives the vehicle and the crew.
  • Distance — a local shift within Delhi or across to Gurugram prices very differently from an intercity haul to Mumbai or Bengaluru.
  • Floor and lift availability — a condo with a working service lift is quicker and cheaper to clear than a third-floor builder-floor that needs a long manual carry.
  • Packing material grade — full bubble-and-carton packing on a fragile-heavy home costs more than a lighter pack, and we price what your goods actually need.
  • Transit insurance and GST — insurance priced on the declared value, GST charged correctly and shown on the invoice, never buried in a round figure.

The free pre-move survey is how all of this becomes a single written figure — an exact, all-inclusive quote you can hold us to, not a phone estimate that grows on the day.

3BHK, Delhi to Gurugram

Greater Kailash to a Golf Course Road condo

A family shifting a 3BHK builder-floor in Greater Kailash to a high-rise on Golf Course Road, where the condo would release its service lift for a single two-hour slot. The coordinator booked the lift window, sequenced the GK packing the evening before so the morning was pure loading, cleared the RWA gate-pass at both ends, and raised the e-way bill for the leg crossing into Haryana. A padded service lift at the Gurugram end and the wardrobes back together by early afternoon.

Office relocation

An office in Cyber City

A thirty-desk office moving within Cyber City over a weekend to avoid a working-day loss. The coordinator ran the tower’s after-hours access rules, labelled and crated the IT kit separately, kept the filing in sequence, and had the floor usable before Monday. The written quote covered the weekend labour and the lift bookings up front, so there was no surprise on the invoice.

2BHK intercity

Delhi to Jaipur on a dedicated truck

A 2BHK heading from Dwarka to Jaipur on a dedicated truck. The coordinator crated the glass-top table and the television, added transit insurance for the road, and timed the dispatch so the load cleared the Delhi society lift in the morning and reached Jaipur the same evening. Unpacked and reassembled at the Jaipur end the next day, one coordinator across both cities.

Frequently asked questions — packers and movers in Delhi NCR

What does it cost to shift a 1, 2 or 3 BHK in Delhi NCR?

It depends on the volume of goods, the distance, the floor and lift access at both ends, the packing your home needs, insurance and GST — not on the bedroom count alone. A 2BHK with a working service lift moving within Delhi prices very differently from the same flat on a third-floor builder-floor or a shift across to Gurugram. Book the free survey and you get one written, all-inclusive figure rather than a phone estimate that grows on the day.

Will you handle the RWA NOC and gate-pass?

Yes. Most NCR societies and condominiums need a no-objection certificate from the RWA or managing committee and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. Tell us your society’s rules at the survey and your coordinator helps line the paperwork up in advance, so the crew is not stopped at the gate on the morning of the move.

Do I need an e-way bill to move into Gurugram or Noida?

Often, yes. Gurugram and Faridabad sit in Haryana and Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad sit in Uttar Pradesh, so a move out of Delhi crosses a state border. When the value of the goods on a single vehicle crosses the GST threshold, that inter-state leg needs an e-way bill, and a tempo without one can be held at the checkpoint. Your coordinator raises it against the move so the crossing is clean.

Is my move insured, and what happens if something is damaged?

We offer transit insurance priced on the declared value of your goods, which we recommend particularly for intercity moves. If something is damaged in transit, the cover and a clear claims route are in place — and because the crew is trained and the packing graded to what your goods need, the aim is to avoid the claim in the first place.

How long does a move to Mumbai or Bengaluru take?

Jaipur and Chandigarh are usually same-day or next-day on a dedicated vehicle. Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru are longer southern and western hauls, typically three to five days door to door on a dedicated load, and longer on a shared one. We give you a dedicated-truck price against a shared-load price so you can weigh speed against budget.

Do you provide storage if my new home is not ready?

Yes. We have clean storage for short or longer terms, covering the common gap when a new flat is not ready or a sale and a purchase do not line up. Your goods stay packed and inventoried until you take delivery.

Can you transport my bike and car?

Yes. Two-wheelers are drained, crated and secured; cars travel in an enclosed or open carrier for intercity routes. Both can move alongside your household goods or on their own, and both are covered by transit insurance for the distance.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. We survey before we price, and the written quote itemises packing, labour, vehicle, floor and lift access, insurance and GST. There is no moving-day add-on for the staircase, the wrapping or a second man — if a charge applies it is in the quote, and if it is not in the quote it does not appear on the bill.

How long does a local Delhi NCR house shift take?

Most local shifts are a single day — pack, load, move, unpack and reassemble — provided the service-lift slot and the gate-pass are booked and, for a leg into Gurugram or Noida, the e-way bill is ready. Larger homes, builder-floors with a long manual carry or condos with restricted lift timings can run into a second day, and we tell you which at the survey.
