A house shift in Hyderabad is rarely decided by the kilometres on the map. Moving from Kukatpally to Gachibowli is a short run across the city, yet what really shapes the day is everything around the road leg — the gate-pass your gated community insists on, the association NOC the managing committee wants signed, the service-lift slot a high-rise will release only for a fixed window, and the deposit the society holds against any mark on the common area. Seemleius packs and moves homes and offices across the twin cities for exactly that reason: Hyderabad rewards crews who know its societies and timings, and catches out the ones who arrive to improvise.

We have completed 1,213 moves and counting, and the pattern holds whether you are shifting a 1BHK in Ameerpet, a 2BHK in Madhapur or an office floor in HITEC City. The work that makes a move calm happens before a single carton is sealed: a proper survey of your home, a written quote that names every charge, the society paperwork lined up in advance, and one coordinator who owns the job from first call to final carton.

A surveyed, written quote — no hidden charges

We survey your home before we price it, then put every line in writing: packing material, labour, vehicle, floor and lift access, transit insurance and GST. The figure you sign is the figure you pay. The trade’s worst habit is the quiet add-on on moving day — an extra for the staircase, for the wrapping, for the second man. We quote those in, or we tell you plainly that they do not apply.

Our own trained crew, not day labour

The team that packs your home is in-house and trained on Hyderabad building access, lift padding and furniture dismantling — not casual hands hired at the gate that morning. They know how to bring a wardrobe down a Banjara Hills staircase and how to crate a glass-top table so it survives the run to Bengaluru.

Insured, invoiced and coordinated

Transit insurance on the move, a proper GST invoice for your records, and a single named coordinator who knows your society’s rules, your lift slot and your timeline — not a fresh voice every time you ring.

What we move in Hyderabad

Most days are household shifts, but the crew and vehicles flex to the job in front of them. Across the twin cities we handle:

  • Home shifting — from a single-room set to a four-bedroom flat, packed, moved, unpacked and reassembled.
  • Office and commercial relocation — workstations, server and IT kit, files and furniture, planned around a weekend or after-hours window so the business loses the least working time.
  • Packing and unpacking — full-service packing in graded material, or pack-only and unpack-only where you want to handle one end yourself.
  • Bike and car transport — two-wheelers drained, crated and secured; cars in an enclosed or open carrier for intercity routes.
  • Storage and warehousing — clean, short or longer-term storage for the gap when a new place is not ready or a sale and purchase do not line up.
  • Single-item and furniture moves — one wardrobe, a fridge or a handful of cartons, priced sensibly rather than as a full shift.

Areas of Hyderabad we serve

We work the whole of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and the outer growth corridors, and we know the building and access quirks that come with each pocket:

  • The IT corridor — Gachibowli, HITEC City, Madhapur and Kondapur — the high-rise societies and tech-park addresses where lift slots, gate-passes and after-hours office windows set the timing, and where the Gachibowli–Madhapur stretch dictates when a tempo can move.
  • Financial District — Nanakramguda, Manikonda and Nallagandla — the newer gated communities around the Financial District, firm on association NOC and service-lift booking, served on the same surveyed terms.
  • Kukatpally, KPHB, Miyapur and Kompally — the dense residential belt to the north-west, a steady source of moves into the IT corridor, with their own society routines and parking constraints.
  • Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills — the older independent houses and premium apartments where narrow internal roads, level access and careful handling of heavier furniture matter.
  • Secunderabad and Begumpet — the twin-city side and the central belt around Ameerpet, where cantonment-area access and older buildings shape the plan.
  • LB Nagar and Uppal — the eastern and south-eastern stretch, served on the same terms as the rest of the city.

Shamshabad and the airport side, and any locality not named here, is almost certainly still within our run — ask, and we will confirm at the survey.

  1. Free pre-move survey

A surveyor visits your home, or walks through it by video, to measure the volume, count the heavy and fragile pieces, and check the access at both ends — floor, lift size, staircase, internal road width and tempo parking. That is what turns a guess into a written, all-inclusive quote with the right vehicle behind it.

  2. Packing day

The crew packs in graded material — bubble wrap and corrugated sheets for fragiles, cartons for the rest, blankets and stretch wrap on furniture — and dismantles beds, wardrobes and modular units. In the summer months, electronics and anything heat-sensitive are loaded with that in mind rather than left standing in a hot vehicle.

  3. Loading and the move

With the gate-pass cleared and the service lift booked, the load goes down in order, padded into the vehicle and secured for the road — a short city hop or a longer intercity leg. Your coordinator confirms the dispatch and arrival window.

  4. Unpack and reassemble

At the new home the crew carries up, unpacks, puts the beds and wardrobes back together, places the heavy furniture where you want it, and clears the empty cartons and wrapping on the same visit — so you are not living among a fortnight of debris.

The Hyderabad realities we plan around

Gated-community NOC, gate-pass and the security deposit

Most gated communities and high-rise societies in Hyderabad will not let a packing crew or a loaded tempo in or out without an association NOC from the managing committee and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. We build this in early — tell us your society’s rules at the survey and your coordinator helps line up the paperwork, so the crew is not turned away at the gate on moving day.

Service lifts, lift padding and move timings

A high-rise move in Gachibowli or Manikonda lives or dies on the service lift. Buildings release it for a booked slot, sometimes only on certain days and within fixed hours, and often require it padded to protect the interior. We book the slot in advance, bring our own padding, and sequence the load so the lift time is used and not wasted. Where a society restricts moves to weekdays or particular hours, we plan the date around that rather than against it.

IT-corridor relocations

A large share of Hyderabad moves are tied to the IT corridor — families shifting closer to HITEC City or the Financial District, and offices relocating within the tech parks. These carry their own demands: after-hours building access for an office floor, careful handling and labelling of IT kit, and residential moves timed so the tempo clears the corridor when it can. We plan the office and household versions differently because they are different jobs.

Twin-city moves and the peak stretch

Hyderabad traffic is generally more manageable than some larger metros, but the Gachibowli–Madhapur stretch congests at peak hours, and a move that crosses between Hyderabad and Secunderabad benefits from sensible timing. We schedule loading and dispatch to dodge the worst of the peak, so the road leg is short and the lift slot at the far end is met.

The summer heat

From April to June the heat is a planning input, not a surprise. We load and dispatch with the day’s temperature in mind, keep electronics and heat-sensitive items handled and covered properly, and where a long leg is involved we sequence the timing so goods are not standing in a hot vehicle longer than they need to be.

Intercity moves from Hyderabad

A good share of our intercity work runs out of Hyderabad, and we are straight about transit times because that is where most disappointment comes from. Bands depend on volume, the vehicle and whether you take a dedicated truck or a shared load.

  • Hyderabad to Bengaluru — one of the most common routes, typically two to three days door to door on a dedicated load, longer on a shared one while the truck consolidates other consignments.
  • Hyderabad to Chennai — usually two to three days on a dedicated vehicle, similar in pattern to the Bengaluru run.
  • Hyderabad to Mumbai — generally two to three days door to door depending on the vehicle and route.
  • Hyderabad to Pune — commonly delivered inside two to three days on a dedicated load.
  • Hyderabad to Vijayawada — a shorter leg, often delivered inside one to two days.
  • Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam or Nagpur — longer hauls, generally two to three days depending on the load and the road.

For any of these we crate furniture to survive the road, offer transit insurance for the distance, and give you a dedicated-truck price against a shared-load price so you can weigh speed against budget honestly.

What affects the cost of a Hyderabad move

There is no honest flat price for a house shift, because no two homes measure the same, and we will not quote a number before we have seen the job. What the quote is built from:

  • Home size and volume — a 1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK or 4BHK each carry a different load, and it is the volume, not just the bedroom count, that drives the vehicle and the crew.
  • Distance — a local shift within the city prices very differently from an intercity haul to Bengaluru or Chennai.
  • Floor and lift availability — a flat with a working service lift is quicker and cheaper to clear than a fourth-floor walk-up that needs a long manual carry.
  • Packing material grade — full bubble-and-carton packing on a fragile-heavy home costs more than a lighter pack, and we price what your goods actually need.
  • Transit insurance and GST — insurance priced on the declared value, GST charged correctly and shown on the invoice, never buried.

The free pre-move survey is how all of this becomes a single written figure — an exact, all-inclusive quote you can hold us to, not a phone estimate that grows on the day.

2BHK, IT corridor

Kukatpally to Gachibowli

A family shifting a 2BHK closer to work, a short run across the city, but the Gachibowli society would only release its service lift for a two-hour weekday slot. The coordinator booked it, sequenced the Kukatpally packing the evening before so the morning was pure loading, and had the gate-pass and association NOC cleared at both ends ahead of the day. A 14-foot tempo, padded lift, and the beds and wardrobes back together by early afternoon.

Office relocation

An office floor in HITEC City

A thirty-desk office moving within HITEC City over a weekend to avoid a working-day loss. The coordinator ran the building’s after-hours access rules, labelled and crated the IT kit separately, kept the filing in sequence, and had the floor usable before Monday. The written quote covered the weekend labour and lift bookings up front, so there was no surprise on the invoice.

3BHK intercity

Hyderabad to Bengaluru

A 3BHK heading south to Bengaluru on a dedicated truck. The coordinator crated the glass-top dining table and the television, added transit insurance for the road, and timed the dispatch so the load cleared the Hyderabad society lift in the morning and made the most of the day on the road. Unpacked and reassembled at the Bengaluru end two days on, one coordinator across both cities.

Frequently asked questions — packers and movers in Hyderabad

What does it cost to shift a 1, 2 or 3 BHK in Hyderabad?

It depends on the volume of goods, the distance, the floor and lift access at both ends, the packing your home needs, insurance and GST — not on the bedroom count alone. A 2BHK with a working service lift moving within the city prices very differently from the same flat on a fourth-floor walk-up or a shift to Bengaluru. Book the free survey and you get one written, all-inclusive figure rather than a phone estimate that grows on the day.

Will you handle the gated-community NOC and gate-pass?

Yes. Most Hyderabad gated communities need an association NOC from the managing committee and a gate-pass for the day, and many take a refundable security deposit against lift or common-area damage. Tell us your society’s rules at the survey and your coordinator helps line the paperwork up in advance, so the crew is not stopped at the gate on moving day.

Is my move insured, and what happens if something is damaged?

We offer transit insurance priced on the declared value of your goods, which we recommend particularly for intercity moves. If something is damaged in transit, the cover and a clear claims route are in place — and because the crew is trained and the packing graded to what your goods need, the aim is to avoid the claim in the first place.

How long does a move to Bengaluru or Chennai take?

Both are typically two to three days door to door on a dedicated load, and longer on a shared one while the truck consolidates other consignments. We give you a dedicated-truck price against a shared-load price so you can weigh speed against budget.

Do you handle moves within the IT corridor and Financial District?

Yes. The IT corridor — Gachibowli, HITEC City, Madhapur, Kondapur — and the Financial District around Nanakramguda and Manikonda are a large part of what we do, both household shifts and office relocations. We plan around the high-rise lift slots, gate-passes and, for offices, the after-hours building access.

Do you provide storage if my new home is not ready?

Yes. We have clean storage for short or longer terms, covering the common gap when a new flat is not ready or a sale and purchase do not line up. Your goods stay packed and inventoried until you take delivery.

Can you transport my bike and car?

Yes. Two-wheelers are drained, crated and secured; cars travel in an enclosed or open carrier for intercity routes. Both can move alongside your household goods or on their own, and both are covered by transit insurance for the distance.

How long does a local Hyderabad house shift take?

Most local shifts are a single day — pack, load, move, unpack and reassemble — provided the service-lift slot and gate-pass are booked. Larger homes or buildings with restricted lift timings can run into a second day, and we tell you which at the survey.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. We survey before we price, and the written quote itemises packing, labour, vehicle, floor and lift access, insurance and GST. There is no moving-day add-on for the staircase, the wrapping or a second man — if a charge applies it is in the quote, and if it is not in the quote it does not appear on the bill.
