Storage Terms
The terms for storing your goods with Seemleius.

These Storage Terms apply when you store goods with Seemleius, whether as part of a move or as a standalone service. They sit alongside your Service Terms.
1. Storage bookings and duration
Storage is booked for an agreed period — from a few days to long term — at the rate set out in your quote. Storage continues, and charges continue to accrue, until you end it in line with section 7.
2. Access to stored goods
Your goods are held in secure, monitored storage. Access is by arrangement: please give us reasonable notice so we can retrieve your items safely. Access may be subject to charges where it involves handling or retrieval beyond normal storage.
3. Payment and non-payment
Storage charges are payable in advance for each period as set out in your quote. If charges remain unpaid, we may withhold access to the stored goods and, after giving you notice, we have a lien over the goods — meaning we may retain and ultimately sell them to recover what is owed. We will always try to resolve unpaid charges with you first.
4. What you may not store
You must declare what you are storing and you may not store: cash, jewellery or irreplaceable valuables unless specifically agreed; perishable goods; living things; illegal, dangerous, flammable or hazardous items; or anything that could damage other goods or the facility. We may refuse or remove items that breach this section.
5. Condition and inventory
Goods are recorded on an inventory when they enter storage. You should ensure items are clean, dry and suitably prepared for storage, particularly for longer periods. We are not responsible for deterioration that arises from the nature or condition of an item rather than from our handling.
6. Liability and insurance
We take the security of stored goods seriously, but we strongly recommend that stored goods are insured. The cover available is set out in the insurance arranged for your storage — see our Insurance Terms. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and by the terms of any cover in place.
7. Ending your storage
To end your storage, give us reasonable notice and settle any outstanding charges. We will then arrange release or onward delivery of your goods. Any handling, transport or final-month charges are as set out in your quote.
