The India–Brazil corridor
Household and commercial sea freight ships as containerised cargo from Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra, Chennai or Cochin to Brazil’s major ports — the Port of Santos, the largest in Latin America and the gateway for São Paulo, along with Rio de Janeiro, Paranaguá and Itajaí. Routing typically runs around the Cape of Good Hope or via a transhipment hub, with realistic port-to-port transit in the region of four to seven weeks depending on the service. We confirm the actual sailing routing for your shipment.
Air freight from Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), Bengaluru (BLR) or Chennai (MAA) routes via a Gulf or European hub into São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), with Rio de Janeiro–Galeão (GIG) as an alternative. On arrival, clearance is handled by the Receita Federal do Brasil; used household effects belonging to someone establishing residence may be imported under the transfer-of-residence regime, which is documentation-intensive, and we prepare the Portuguese-language paperwork precisely.
Indian export clearance
Shipping bill filed on ICEGATE, AD code registration and Indian customs clearance managed at Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai or Cochin — the shipment leaves India correctly documented.
Brazil customs regime
Clearance through the Receita Federal do Brasil, with the transfer-of-residence regime on used household effects confirmed and the Portuguese-language documentation prepared in advance.

- Pack and dispatch. Our crew packs to export standard from your India origin, and the shipment is booked on the confirmed routing to Santos or another Brazilian port, or flown via hub to GRU.
- Clear and deliver in Brazil. We manage Receita Federal clearance, apply transfer-of-residence relief where you qualify, and coordinate onward road delivery to your address.
