Air freight is often the more practical choice: consignments leave Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), Bengaluru (BLR) or Chennai (MAA) and route via a Gulf hub into Ashgabat International Airport (ASB).

At the Turkmen end, clearance is handled by the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. Returning nationals and approved long-stay arrivals can claim relief on used household and personal effects under transfer-of-residence provisions, subject to ownership, use and residence conditions and a complete inventory. Because Turkmen import procedures are documentation-intensive, we prepare paperwork thoroughly and confirm the position before anything ships.
