Address registration with the local municipality follows, and a Bulgarian identity document for foreigners is issued against the residence permit. Confirmed housing is therefore important early, because the lease address feeds into the registration steps.

Employees arriving from India are also navigating the Cyrillic alphabet, a different administrative culture, and often the practical gap between their shipment reaching Varna or Burgas and their goods clearing customs.
