Commercial goods and the EORI chain

If the move includes commercial stock, samples or operational equipment, the EU import side requires an EORI number registered against the Portuguese entity, accurate HS classification for each line item, and customs submission ahead of the cargo arriving at Lisbon, Leixões or Sines. We prepare the import file in parallel with the move itself so customs treatment is not the constraint on day one.
