Customs clearance is handled by the Direction Générale des Douanes (Cameroon Customs). Returning nationals and new residents may claim relief on used personal and household effects under transfer-of-residence provisions, subject to a detailed inventory, passport, residence or work documentation and evidence of prior ownership.
