Sea freight from Jebel Ali is most reliably routed to a European port — commonly in Poland, such as Gdańsk, or via Constanța in Romania — with onward road or rail transport across the border into Ukraine. Door-to-door transit typically runs around five to eight weeks depending on the gateway and inland leg. Ukraine’s own Black Sea ports include Odesa and Chornomorsk; their use is assessed against current conditions. Air freight from DXB routes via a European hub onward to Kyiv or Lviv for urgent consignments.

Customs is administered by the State Customs Service of Ukraine. Citizens and returning residents may import personal and household effects with relief from duty and import taxes where the goods have been owned and used abroad and are declared on a detailed inventory with passport and residence evidence. We prepare the documentation in advance and confirm the treatment before the shipment departs.
