Pets and vehicles are the two parts of a move to Turkey that people worry about most, and for good reason — both sit outside a normal household clearance and both have rules that reward planning and punish improvisation. Relocating your pet to Turkey

Turkey admits pets under a defined health protocol, and the sequence matters because some steps have minimum waiting periods. In practice a dog or cat needs an ISO-standard microchip, a current rabies vaccination given after the chip, a rabies antibody titre test where required for the route, and an official veterinary health certificate issued close to travel by a UAE vet. Pets usually fly into İstanbul, and there is a limit on the number of animals per passenger. We work with an established pet-relocation partner and build the vaccination and testing calendar backwards from your travel date so nothing is missed at the last minute.

Shipping a vehicle to Turkey — a frank view

Vehicles are the hard case, and we would rather be straight with you than sell a shipment you will regret. Turkey applies strict limits and heavy taxes on importing used foreign-registered cars, and for the great majority of moves it simply is not economical to bring a UAE car in and register it. There are narrow exceptions tied to specific residence and returning-resident categories, and foreign-plated vehicles can be used on a temporary basis under tourist and transit rules for a limited period. At the survey we tell you honestly which side of that line your situation falls on, and where importing does not make sense we say so rather than earn a fee shipping metal that has to turn around at the port.

Where a vehicle move does make sense

For classic cars, motorbikes and specialist vehicles moving under the right category, or for temporary imports within the permitted period, we crate or lash the vehicle for sea, drain and disconnect to shipping-line requirements, and coordinate the Turkish clearance through our broker. Motorcycles and smaller vehicles often share a consolidated container to keep the cost proportionate.
