Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a multi-island nation in the eastern Caribbean, and a move there from the UAE is a long-haul relocation that depends on well-planned freight connections. The corridor carries returning Vincentians, retirees and families drawn to the islands’ quiet pace, and Seemleius runs it as a managed transhipment route.
With a main island and a chain of smaller Grenadines, the country has no direct sea or air service from the Gulf, so every shipment connects through an established hub. Route planning is the heart of the move — selecting the connection, booking the feeder service and, where needed, the inter-island leg — alongside the country’s own customs procedures.
Freight routes and customs
Since February 2026, when the Strait of Hormuz closed to commercial shipping, containers have gone by road to a port outside the strait, such as Khor Fakkan or Fujairah on the UAE’s east coast or Sohar in Oman. From there, sea freight routes via a transhipment hub — commonly a major Caribbean port such as Kingston in Jamaica or Caucedo in the Dominican Republic — before a regional feeder service brings containers into Kingstown, the capital and main port on Saint Vincent. We confirm the routing and dates for full-container volumes at the survey. Air freight leaves DXB and connects through a North American or Caribbean hub into Argyle International Airport near Kingstown.
Customs is administered by the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Customs and Excise Department. Returning nationals and qualifying new residents may claim relief on used household effects, subject to proof of prior ownership and residency intent. A detailed valued inventory, passport and immigration documentation are required. We prepare the customs file in advance so clearance at Kingstown proceeds cleanly.
Sea & air freight
Sea via a Caribbean transhipment hub into Kingstown — air through DXB and a connecting hub into Argyle.
Customs handled
Customs and Excise Department relief on used household goods, valued inventories and import documentation prepared in advance.
Inter-island delivery
Onward feeder transfer from Saint Vincent to Bequia and the other Grenadines coordinated as part of the move.
One coordinator
A single point of contact owns your move from the UAE survey to the island delivery, with no handover gaps.
Who moves this route
The corridor serves households relocating full homes to the islands, individuals with part-container or air shipments, and businesses moving office contents or commercial freight for hospitality and yachting-sector operations. Every shipment follows the same managed transhipment route.
Where we deliver
We move regularly to the country’s towns and islands:
- Kingstown — the capital, main commercial centre and port of entry on Saint Vincent
- Calliaqua — a southern town near Argyle airport and a popular residential area
- Bequia — the largest of the Grenadines, reached by inter-island feeder
- Canouan & Union Island — smaller Grenadines served by onward feeder transfer
How your move works
- Survey and quote. We assess volume and contents — in person in the UAE or by video — and return a clear, itemised quote with freight options explained.
- Document in advance. Dates are confirmed, transhipment and feeder space is booked, and the customs file is prepared and checked before the shipment leaves the UAE.
- Pack and ship. Our crew packs to export standard, builds a full inventory, and dispatches by sea or by air from DXB.
- Clear and deliver. Our destination partner handles customs clearance at Kingstown and coordinates onward delivery, including inter-island legs, to your address.
Every Dubai–Saint Vincent move starts with a clear conversation about volume, timing and budget. Request a quote and your coordinator will map the route.
