Customs is handled by the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA). Imported personal effects require a detailed inventory, passport and residence documentation, and an accurate values declaration. Returning residents and those relocating may be eligible for relief on used household goods under transfer-of-residence provisions, assessed on the strength of the paperwork.
