How a move with us works

1. Survey. A coordinator sees what is moving, in your home or on a video call, measures the volume and notes anything that needs special handling or access arrangements.
2. Quote. You receive a free, itemised quote that shows what is included, so you can compare it line by line.
3. Plan. Your coordinator confirms the date, crew and vehicles, and tells you what to arrange with your building, such as a move permit or a lift booking.
4. Move day. The crew packs and protects everything, loads it and delivers it to the right rooms at the other end, with furniture reassembled and packing debris taken away.

Moving between Abu Dhabi and Dubai

A move between Abu Dhabi and Dubai goes by road, and its timing depends mostly on the buildings at each end. Many towers and communities ask for a move permit or a no-objection letter and a booked service lift, and some allow moves only at set hours. Ask both building managements early; your coordinator plans the crew and the loading order around their rules. Whether the move takes one day or two depends on the volume and the access, and your coordinator confirms it after the survey.

If you are moving into a rented home in Abu Dhabi, the tenancy contract is registered on Tawtheeq, Abu Dhabi's tenancy registration system (on Al Reem and Al Maryah islands, with ADGM's Registration Authority instead), and electricity and water from TAQA Distribution (formerly ADDC) are set up once it is registered, so leave time for that before your move-in date. Moving the other way, into Dubai, the equivalents are Ejari and DEWA.

Moving abroad from Abu Dhabi

For a move to another country, we pack to export standard at your Abu Dhabi address, prepare the export paperwork and book the freight. Since the Strait of Hormuz closed to commercial shipping in February 2026, sea freight from the UAE goes by road to a port outside the strait, such as Khor Fakkan or Fujairah on the UAE's east coast or Sohar in Oman, and routing and sailing dates are confirmed at the survey. Air freight is the faster choice for what you need first. At the destination, our partner there handles customs clearance and delivery, and your coordinator stays your single point of contact.

Storage while you are between homes

If your new home is not ready yet, we can collect from Abu Dhabi and keep your belongings in our air-conditioned storage in Dubai, short or long term, with a full inventory, then deliver when you are ready.

Before you book: a short checklist

• Ask your building management about move permits, lift bookings and the hours moves are allowed.
• Check where the truck can park and load at both addresses.
• Settle your final electricity and water bill before you hand back the keys.
• Set aside documents, valuables, medicines and anything you will carry yourself.
• For a move abroad, keep passports and the papers your destination asks for together; your coordinator tells you which.
